(*1997) The youngest ever Nobel Prize laureate, Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani activist for primarily female education. At the age of 11, she started a blog to write about her life under Taliban occupation, when girls were banned from attending school. The blog made her an internationally known figure, which resulted in her opponents attempting to kill her. She barely survived, and after her recovery, she had the courage to not withdraw, but to become even more active, travelling the world to talk about and fight against the suppression of children, and for the right to education.
