For all turn-up pens applies that to get them started, you need to rotate the base of the pen anywhere between 5 and 20 whole turns, depending on the texture that is inside and the temperature of the texture.
ELLIS HOLDER
The Holder has been designed to give you a compact solution your problems in storing your makeup products, but at the same time keeping them at hand.
The Holder can fit a maximum of six normal Ellis Faas pens, one foundation pen and a compact powder.
To open the powder compartment with mirror, carefully open the lid on the top part.
To open the pen compartment, pull off the whole top of the Holder.
Make sure the caps are tightly fitted onto your pens, and insert them into the Holder, pointed side down.
To use the Holder, keep it upright and turn the base clockwise to make the pens come up individually.
In the box you will find a pen with two cartridges.
Turn off the black lid from the cartridge and discard.
Place the cartridge inside the pen and turn until it sets. Pull off the cap from the pen and pump at the base until the product appears. This should take about five pumps.
You can clean the brush with soap and water when needed.
Concealer
The Concealer comes in a turn-up pen with a brush.
Before you start turning up the concealer, please pull off the cap from the pen and first soften the brush on your hand.
Now turn the base of the pen clockwise, just until you notice the substance coming into the brush.
As soon as you see the substance appearing, please wait half a minute to let the product saturate the brush.
For any subsequent use, you only need to turn one or two single clicks to load the pen.
If needed, you can clean the brush with soap and water.
Blush
The Blush comes in a turn-up pen with a sponge. Please pull off the cap from the pen.
Now turn the base of the pen clockwise, just until you notice the substance coming into the sponge.
As soon as you see the substance appearing, please wait half a minute to let the product saturate the sponge.
For any subsequent use, you only need to turn one or two single clicks to load the pen.
If needed you can clean the sponge with soap and water.
Compact Powder The Powder comes in a refill and is especially designed to fit into the cap of the Ellis Holder.
Take the round sticker to secure the powder into the powder compartment.
The provided powder puff has two sides. One side is velvety, meant to apply the powder, the other side is a sponge to either apply the powder or to fade the foundation.
If needed wash the puff with soap and water.
Creamy Eyes
Creamy Eyes comes in a turn-up pen with a brush.
Before you start turning up the Creamy Eyes, please pull off the cap from the pen and first soften the brush on your hand.
Now turn the bottom of the pen clockwise, just until you notice the substance coming into the brush.
As soon as you see the substance appearing, please wait half a minute to let the product saturate the brush.
For any subsequent use, you only need to turn one or two single clicks to load the pen.
If the substance does not come out after a few clicks this means you have not used the eye shadow for quite a while. In that case, please wash the brush with soap and water and continue.
Milky Eyes
Milky Eyes comes in a turn-up pen with a sponge. Please pull of the cap from the pen.
Now turn the bottom of the pen clockwise, just until you notice the substance coming into the sponge.
As soon as you see the substance appearing, please wait half a minute to let the product saturate the sponge.
For any subsequent use, you only need to turn one or two single clicks to load the pen.
If the substance does not come out after a few clicks this means you have not used the eyeshadow for quite a while. In that case, please wash the sponge with soap and water and continue.
Mascara
Mascara is the only product that comes in a traditional dipping pen.
Simply turn off the cap from the pen and pull out the wand.
You can apply one layer or keep reapplying for a more and more dramatic effect.
Ellis Lips
Ellis Lips comes in a turn-up pen with a sponge (Creamy Lips) or a brush (Milky Lips and Glazed Lips)
Before you start turning up the product, please pull off the cap from the pen and first soften the brush on your hand.
Now turn the base of the pen clockwise, just until you notice the substance coming into the applicator.
As soon as you see the substance appearing, please wait half a minute to let the product saturate the applicator.
For any subsequent use, you only need to turn one or two single clicks to load the pen.
If needed wash the applicator with soap and water.
